Kroger has teamed up with Gleaners Community Food Bank, 104.3 WOMC and Fox 2 Detroit to collect donations and help feed hungry neighbors this winter. By passing on your savings when you shop at Kroger, you can make a big difference for a hungry neighbor.
You can help by contributing canned goods and personal items, or by picking up a special $2 scan card at the Kroger register to make a cash donation. $2 provides 6 meals.

The Detroit Red Wings and the Detroit Red Wings Foundation are proud to announce that all 24 players, along with head coach Mike Babcock, are participating in a number of charity programs throughout the 2014-15 season.
Tomas Tatar will donate $100 per point during the 2014-15 season to Gleaners Community Food Bank's BackPack Program. The BackPack Program sends a bag with six meals home with hungry elementary students.

Kiwana Johnston recently starting her new position as Gleaners’ Human Resources Coordinator. She’s only been on the job for several days now, but she’s already starting to feel welcome.
Listening to great music, wasn’t the only reason why Karen Roosen returned to volunteer. “My friend shared with me how her church worked with Gleaners to help families in need. Hearing those stories hit home for me,” she said.
